I have a ulcer in my throat and it pains a lot while eating drinking and even talking i consulted a ent specialist and he suggested me an operation but at the same time my previous doctor who trreated me for ulcer last year says there is no need for an operation i am confused and in pain

Hello user, you haven't have mentioned the duration of the problem and can you post the picture of the ulcer. For ulcer if they are for long duration then surgery may be needed....
