My son who is 10. Month old is suffering from typhoid..the dr. Has suggested for typoid tcv at 11.5 months. Is it ok.as per his chart typhoid vaccination is due at 2 years.

Typhoid conjugate vaccine is a new development in vaccines,and ideal age of giving it is 9-12 months,followed by either normal polysaccharide OR conjugate vaccine at 2 years. A follow up dose of typhoid vaccination is given after 5 years of age.
