Hi First you need to confirm wether you have typhoid/enteric fever or not Vaccine is given if your not having typhoid And want to protect yourself from typhoid - you can take injection Or oral vaccine to prevent typhoid If you are suffering from typhoid you need to take treatment for it and complete the full course

What are your symptoms for which typhoid fever is diagnosed? Typhoid fever is best diagnosed by a blood culture...at the time of fever...if specific antibiotic treatment is started after sensitivity testing for 10 to 14 days complete cure is possible in India , it is not uncommon to become chronic typhoid carriers...even then treatment is possible with prolonged susceptible antibiotics..
