2023-02-17 13:48:51
Hi doctor, I had my total thyroidectomy for MNG 1 month back and the tsh value after a month shows 14.5 . I was been prescribed 75mcg. Now changed to 100 mcg. Please let me know whether tsh value will become appropriate based on the recent 100 mcg dose

Its difficult to predict what dose will work for you.so dose needs to be titrated.

In the beginning it is common to have fluctuations in the dose because of fluctuating tsh values The only way to know which dose is correct for you will be when you get tested again after a month
