I am 30 years old this is the first time we tried for pregnancy, today is the day before my expected period date and i tried doing a test but it came negative. I did the test after 14 days of last unprotected sex. My question is am i too early to do the test? I have a regular periodic cycle with no problems. When should i do a test?

It is not a question of how many days after sexual intercourse that you do the test. It is after how many days of missing your periods. You should do the home pregnancy test only if you are overdue for your periods by at least 5 days.

Repeat the test after 2 days . Go for BetaHCG test, it's confirmatory .
