When cancer is present with hashimoto thyroiditis in a way its good because the lymphocytes which increase in thyroiditis keep the cancer at bay and the cancer is usually in an early stage. Having said that, you can just do a, thyroid function test, thyroglobulin levels and a RAI uptake scan. This will give you an objective evidence if you have cancer or not
