He probably has  what we call febrile seizure,resulting from fever due to any cause. This usually occurs till 3 years of age,and sometimes up-to 6 years. It's essential to reduce temperature rapidly to avoid seizures. Use syp combiflam if plain paracetamol is not effective in reducing the fever. Also,bathe or sponge the child. A drug called frisium is used to prevent febrile seizure and is to be given for 58 hours whenever fever occurs.
