Tongue turned black after meals

Suddenly my tongue turned slightly brown/black after having dinner. I scrape the tongue daily while brushing, today it faded away but still I could see that brown tinch. For dinner I had food cooked on some old iron vessel yesterday, could that be a reason ? Food that I had for that day was dosa, Jack fruits, dates,chiku, mutton.

Yeah that could be the reason if the food also turned black while taking out... That usually happens with the iron vessels
