Follow the precautions your dentist has given you like avoiding wide mouth opening. Have a soft diet and take the prescribed medication

Don’t chew, give it rest. Eat soft food for few days. Which don’t need chewing. Try warm compress( fomentation) over the TMJ region. 5 secs on - 5sec off for 5-10 min multiple times a day. Try not to open mouth wide.
Next Steps
If pain is severe try diclofenac gel/cream over the tmj region before applying warm fomentation. Visit your doc and ask for escalation of pain killers. If you are in Chennai you can consult for appt. I could review and possibly you might benefit from joint lavage. But I’ll need to asses,
