Hi, I'm 28yrs female. I have tinea versicolor problem since last 2 to 3 yrs. Doctor said it's a fungal infection and suggested me multivitamin tablets along with karpin lotion. When I use this continuously for 3 months, the problem will be gone completely and will recur in next few months. My health conditions (BP, sugar levels, thyroid levels are normal). Recently I got this problem back. Now, I'm 4 months pregnant. When I approached different doctor, he told he will not give any oral medication as I'm carrying. Instead he gave me, kz antifungal soap, luliconazole cream , and moisturex cream to apply on affected area. Kindly let me know these medications are safe to use on a pregnant lady? Also, these medicines are effective in treating tinea versicolor.
