Thyroid problem
My wife 54 years old is having blood test results as under:-
T3=1.05,T4=9.4 and TSH=7.43.She is not diabetic.Suggest me. She is talking Thyrox-25 mg. After test result as a bove it was increased to 50 mg.She has hair fall problem and pain in legs.
Thyroxin 75 umg.is the right dose as of now.she ahould be taking calcium 500 mg once a day with vit d3 sachet once a month.and tab .biotin twice a day.for her.hair fall.

Hello, your wide has hypothyroidism so thyroid hormone has to be given from outside in the form of tablet. High tsh suggests that levothyroxine need to be increased so that you have already done. Now regarding hair fall and pain in legs. These can be due to various problems associated with the hypothyroid. You should get hemoglobin tested also. Anemia is common in thyroid along with calcium and vitamin d deficiency. You need to take supplements accordingly. Tc
