Thyroid problem

Can i share my food with person who has thyroid. Like if he takes a bite from my sandwich and i continue eating the same sandwich, will i contract thyroid too??

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Everyone has a thyroid.  Thyroid is a gland. The problem with it could be hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.  So thyroid is not a problem. Coming to thyroid ailments, yes you can share foods. Its not a disorder which spreads. You have to inherit it for the most part to suffer from it. Its not contagious in any sense. Best regards. no you can't have thyroid issue like that,  it is a non infectious disease
