Having Neck pain from 3-4 months Neck sonography shows two collide nodules One around 5×4 cm and one of 4 mm Went for FNAC report One shows medullary carcinoma category 6 Did another FNAC in different hospital.. it showed hashimotosis category 2
What we should do?
TSH, t3, t4 are normal
Calcitonin <2 mg (ideal <8mg)

Calcitonin is normal on this.
Get your neck and vocal cords checked too as part of clinical examination for thyroid
If Medullary thyroid carcinoma(MTC) is confirmed,
1. Please get plasma /urine metanephrines to rule out pheochormocytoma(other associated endocrine tumours with MTC
2. get Surgery done (Total Thyroidectomy)
3. Get genetic testing for RET proto-oncogene

Review the slide that shows medullary ca thyroid from a good reference lab. If it shows the same , you will need surgery
Different samples of fnac can have different histology due to variability of tumor distribution
