My wife is taking thyrox 50mcg regularly and her TSH was under control till September'19 . In November she had a miscarriage and TSH was 8.53 at that time. Now after 4month we are thinking of planning and her TSH is 6.93 ,even after taking thyrox 50mcg regularly. Sugar and pressure are normal. Blood reports are also normal . Please suggest proper dose of thyroxin and any other medication.

The dose of thyroxine needs to be adjusted to keep TSH under control preferably less than 2.5 Miscarriage can happen if TSH is not controlled. Avoid self adjustments. See an Endocrinologist with DM or DNB Endocrinology qualification for all thyroid problems. Thyroid dosing adjustment needs expertise of Endocrinologist for better outcomes.
