Thumb problem

Sir , sometimes I have twitching muscle and same way I just scrolling mobile phone and suddenly my thumb finger twitching and After that I feel like stick and stiff type not free move for. Sometimes after that everything going ok..and It's happen 1 week ago.but from 3and 4 days when I Up and Down and Scrolling mobile I feel like pain in thumb And Specially upper joint part of thumb...any serious? What I do for..

Straining of thumb due to over usage of mobile. Rest thumb for 2 weeks Take pain killer , b12 , calcium, vitamin d supplements

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided.
