Throw up action only

My son is 2 month and 19 days old. Many times he behaves like he will vomit but he never does. It's like only action of vomit. What could be the reason.

It is normal and present in maximum number of babies.Always burp properly after each feed.

Try to give gentle burp after feed. Child may or may not burp that is different issue.

When babies are born the strength of the muscle which holds the food contents in stomach is not yet fully developed so whatever feeds the the New Babies take they tend to spit some of it out..  As the baby grows the strength of the muscle improves and starting 6months of age this problem start's disappearing..  If the vomiting is large and hampering babies growth u might need some medications..

There are few steps which you can take to help ur baby deal with this problem 1. Raise the head end of baby's bed by 30 degree. 2. Give good 15-20min of burping post feeds. 3. Increase the calorie content of feed and make it more thicker. 4. Give Small frequent feeds rather than large feeds.
