An ENT consultation will be helpful to rule out a recent infection or if the throat problem is sequelae of old disease. Try betadine gargle three times a day and syp. Sucral o 2tsp three time a day before meals if the feeling of heart burn or dyspepsia symptoms are there.

Throat pain with difficulty in swallowing may have resulted from acid content of the stomach.Avoid spicy ,sour food for a few days.you can use anaesthetic throat lozenges for the symptomatic relief. However ,if you don't any improvement,do consult a ENT specialist for a clinical examination and appropriate management.

Your throat pain is most likely due to chemical pharyngitis, which happens when stomach acid from vomiting irritates and inflames the throat lining. It’s a common issue after episodes of severe acidity or gastroenteritis. This kind of irritation can make it very painful to swallow, even water or soft foods. Advice: Sip cold or room-temperature fluids (avoid anything hot, acidic, or spicy) Avoid solid foods for now — try soft, bland things like cold milk, coconut water, or plain khichdi once swallowing gets easier Continue saltwater gargles (2–3 times/day, not too hot) If pain is bad, benzocaine lozenges or throat spray can help numb the area Take Pan 40 1-0-1 (30 mins before breakfast for 7-10 days)

Seems like a viral infection which has lead to gastroenteritis as well as sore throat, may also be due to acidic content induced inflammation in throat due to vomiting. Take some decongestants and continue warm saline water gurgle.
