Which test can be done to know if someone has throat cancer? (symptoms are visible) will ultrasound be any good?

Ultrasound may not be helpful! You require a  video straboscopy or 70° scopy done by an ENT like me.

Complete throat evaluation in clinic followed by visualization of the voice box using laryngoscope...if there is anything suspicious then further testing should be done. Ultrasound will help only if done to find something
