Hi there! Complete treatment and prognosis can be commented upon after radioimaging report and staging . Chemoradiation has excellent prognosis for unresectable cancers . If it is resectable, surgery ,then according to histopathology report, chemoradiation or radiation is indicated. Regular follow up post treatment and monitoring for residual/ recurrence.

If the scan report is uploaded, I can comment more specifically. From what you say, I am deducing that the tumour is in the base of tongue with direct extension to probably some other oropharynx or larynx structures. Whether treatment would include radiation as the primary modality OR surgery as the primary modality followed by radiation depends on where the primary is. If the lesion is in anterior (front) part of tongue surgery will be the definitive therapy of choice. If it’s locally advanced chemo may be done prior to surgery. After surgery treatment depends on HPE report. If the lesion is back of tongue, then it will be chemoRT alone. Immunotherapy also has come into evidence now. If it's tongue cancer , definitely treatable if not spread beyond.
