Usually if pain persists in such cases then it’s possibly because of disc injury and /or ligament injury -these can’t be assessed on xrays and this in young persons with persistent pain we always advise to get a MRI done .Simetkmes mild bony or joint injuries are also not picked up by Xray That will help assess properly and then one can advise fir further management
Next Steps
Get a MRI spine (lumbosacral if lower back ) (thoracolumbar if mid back)
Health Tips
It is advised not to continue taking pain killers(NSAIDs) git prolonged duration-try to seek a consult and get MRI

Hi, you will need to undergo an MRi Scan of your spine to arrive at a proper diagnosis. In the meantime, i would recommend you to undergo physiotherapy and if the pain is severe you can take the same tablets prescribed by your previous doctor. Once the mri scan is done, depending on the report i will be able to guide you the proper definitive treatment.
