Did laryngeal endoscopy hurt?? I feel my thoart uncomfortable its not hurt but its not normal doc guess its for LPR so i have to do laryngeal endoscopy did it hurt??

If only for visualisation best is videolaryngoscopy

Rigid Laryngeal endoscopy is done by passing a small 4 mm endoscope through mouth. It is a painless and opd procedure. Since we use angled 70 / 90 degree endoscope , we need not even pass it below into larynx. It's just taken near the back of the tongue

Usually its the rigid endoscopy that would be done..u will be asked to keep ur tongue outwards and doctor passes a 4mm endoscope after holding ur tongue and then visualizes the larynx..it causes mild discomfort as ur tongue is held by the dr and sometimes due to gag reflex..but it is painless..
