There is posterior convexity of cervical spine causing anterior thecal sac indentation from C3-C4 to C5-C6 level. The effective mid sagittal diameter of spinal canal at various disc levels are as follow: C2-C3--15.6 mm C3-C4--12.2 mm C4-C5--12.8 mm C5-C6-13.7 mm C6-C7-13.3 mm
