Tetanus shot validity problem

This year I already got 4 tetanus shots because of me getting scratched from construction work every time. Now again today I got little scratch and I am thinking to get one more. This is bcoz my friend died 10 year ago with tetanus bacteria. I am really loosing peace of mind since morning.

No need for any more Tetanus shots for a year . Also apply antiseptic cream on the scratch like t bact or soframycin or betadine.
