Tests before planning

I m 29yrs old and I hv a 26days period cycle and I m also overweight. I want to conceive now so is there any mandatory tests to do before planning?? Plz suggest..

Hi Hw long hv u been married ? N wat contraception were u using ? Wen u are planning a pregnancy , then definitely U shud get a few things checked.  U shud chek ur BP,  thyroid , sugars,  Rubella immunity status,  ur hemoglobin , hemoglobin electrophoresis.  Being overweight also do ur lipid profile.
