Teething trouble

2017-02-06 09:36:53
My daughter is 8 months old and has started teething since last 1.5 months. Her tooth is extremely slow and she wakes up every 1 hour during night. This has been really exhausting. I have started calc phos 6x(2 tab 2 times) and bc-21 same dosage. Yet to see results. She it ok to give both of these tablets? Is there an alternate solution? Also, can I mix both these tablets?

Hello mam, Teething is a common problem at this age. you can give your daughter refrigerated carrot or a teether kept refrigerator for sometime can be used. You can consult your pediatrician for the dosage of calcium supplements but usually not required. Massage your child's gums 2-3 times in a day and Clean them with gauze dipped in water. Don't worry. Everything is okay. While it's okay to provide your child with a teether, a small toy kind of a thing that your baby can bite on.. It's not okay to get those teething powders. Those are harmful

Your child has begun the process of teething early but the progress is slow. This can happen with many children. Consult her Pediatrician about the medicin dosage. Till then massaging her gums with your finger or using teether toys may help. There could some other season why she wakes up at nite frequently . Please consult her physician for that.
