I have this extra looking teeth over my molar, is it there for long time. It does not cause any problems.. Is it normal

That isn't an extra tooth. It's called as cusp of carebelli. N yrs is very prominent but looking at the photo it appears there is a decay associated to it. It's advised to go for a dental check up.
