There are many treatments available for tooth discolouration You will have to visit the dentist to evaluate of how much extent it is and whether they are since birth or due to any external factor like tea coffee etc.. Other than Veneers there are treatments like bleaching of teeth , direct tooth coloured fillings called as composite material and capping of teeth too All this can be decided after knowing what kind of stains are they So it would be good to consult and ask your dentist for these options

There are other options apart from veneers like cap , bleaching, composite . The best possible treatment can be decided after consultation.

Hi mam...    There are so many reasons for permanent staining...    **Trauma to the tooth which cause pulpal death    **Flurosis    **Amelogenesis imperfecta    **Dentinogenesis imperfecta Treatment for permanent staining: Aprat from veneers you can go for lumineers, reduction of discoloured teeth and its capping... Lumineers:   It is non invasive technique....it is more esthetic and less technique sensitive than veneers... capping:     For anteriors, zirconia crowns are preferrable... It is metal free crowns made up  of diamond crystals... For mild flurosis stains you can treat it with teeth whitening procedure..... For traumatic discolouration you can go with Root canal treatment and zirconia capping can be done
