I get why this is frustrating. Progressive jaw bone loss without a clear cause is not routine dental disease. In such cases, the common missed causes include chronic osteomyelitis, medication-related jaw necrosis, autoimmune conditions, or rare infections. This needs a structured medical + dental approach, not trial-and-error consults.
Next Steps
Review past CBCT/CT, biopsy, culture reports, and full medication history (especially osteoporosis, cancer, steroid, or injection drugs) • Blood work for infection markers, calciumvitamin D, autoimmune screening • Management usually needs coordinated care (oral & maxillofacial + physician)
Health Tips
Cases like this are solved by connecting the dots across reports, not just seeing another surgeon. If you want, share the key reports and history—I can help you map the likely cause and the right specialist to approach next, saving time and unnecessary procedures.
