Does having protruding teeth change the structure of the face, as in, makes it more wider at the jaw?

The teeth are placed in the jaw. The position of the jaw determines the position of the teeth. However if your teeth are protruding , they may make your face look prominent from there. You may correct the alignment of your teeth by putting braces. Consult an orthodontist .
