TB GOLD INTERFERON QUANT POSITIVE
Hi Doctors
My TB Gold Interferon with blood sample is positive but the "sputum for AFB" & "cbnaat TB" with sputum sample are negative. Please see the attached report and please let me know the following:
1. On basis on these report, can we evaluate whether its a active infection or latent infection?
2. What stage it is in?
3. What type of TB is this?
4. Do I need to undergo "cbnaat tb" test with urine sample? Because I am facing urination problem without any evidence in urine culture/semen culture.
5. Do I need to undergo "TB-LAMP" Test?
6. Also, my stomach has lymph nodes in the illiac fossa region which are enlarged now from past 2 years. Can latent also cause these types of issues if this is not active tb?
Please let me know above mentioned queries and really thankful to have your cooperation. Please guide the next steps.

The test does not indicate that infection is active.you can do urine for Afb,and cb natt test.Lymphnode biopsy, if possible, will clinch the diagnosis. Pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.
