Tappering off medication

How to taper off pschychiatric medications? Or stop it... What are the procedures anyone say? Because I think it's very much necessary... Does this medication do any good thn harm... Plz answer

It had to be done by the treating psychiatrist, depending on the illness after discussing with patient and if psychosis with family members as well. Good luck

Hi ! Many drugs need gradually tapering under the supervision of a Psychiatrist. Psychiatric medicines do more good than harm if taken in adequate doses for proper duration and as advised by the Psychiatrist.However, if some patient cannot tolerate one medicine then it can be changed to another one or to another treatment method by the Psychiatrist.
