Hello my 7 weeks old newborn had his 1st major vaccination today at 10am at a government sector. His current weight is 4kg. The staff has advised to give 1/4th tablet of paracetamol (500mg) twice a day. I asked them to tell me about dosage of syrup crocin but as the doctor was not available till 1pm, the syrup dosage could not be advised. I gave him 1/4th paracetamol tablet at 11am with formula feed. But now I am confused whether tablet formation can be given to infants. Is the dosage given correct? If not then what can be done? I also have syp crocin baby drops (100mg/1ml), if this is to given, then how much ml should I give him at night? Thank you.
