My gums are swollen and bleeding when i brush. I also have a mild toothache. This happened after i had a fever few days back.

You need a deep scaling (cleaning) of your teeth. Toothache might be due to infection in the teeth. It would be better if you visit your nearby dentist and get it clinically checked and get an x ray done. For pain - you can take Tab. Ketorol DT (4) take whenever you have pain.
