Last few months have swollen ankles more in left side.Heaviness and bloating in legs when I walk. What can be the reason?

Can be due to cardiac problem or kidney problem..or liver disease or even arthritis or filariasis Needs to be evaluated. Need to know about your condition in detail for better evaluation. You need some blood test's.
