Switching to Renuvie Respirodone 1mg
Ever since taking this med on November 21, 2023 I'm been slowly having a hard time thinking. My thoughts come slower to me. There are a lot times time when my mind is just blank. When I try to have conversations my responses are short, forced, and robotic. I feel like I'm losing my personality. Its as if this drug is making it harder for me to think for myself.
What should I do? I can't see my psych until Jan 15. What should I tell them when I do see them? I know I don't want to take this med anymore. But I'm scared of the withdrawal and my psychosis coming back.
I was using Amiabel 50mg before I switched to Renuvie. It worked perfectly for me. But I was told to wean off this med because I have PCOS and was told it was affecting my hormones and period.
it is Risperidone an antipsychotic. You should not stop the same without consulting a psychiatrist who knows why this medicine had been initially started, the symptoms which were targeted, the severity of symptoms, the duration of illness, the impairment, and how this medicine has helped to relieve the symptoms. so it is wise if you could consult a psychiatrist either online or in person get you detailed history and clinical evaluation done before deciding on switching or stopping the medicine.
