Swelling or Oedema on right ankle

Namaste doctor, My grandmother is 75 years old. On last april 22nd, she had undergone the right side thigh bone implant surgery due to fracture. But, after being discharged from the hospital, she has a swollen ankle on the right leg. She doesn't have any pain there but still, mild pain is there near the operated area while sleeping on that side. Currently, she is only taking vitamin medicines. She doesn't have blood pressure issues, or diabetes. I have attached a picture for the reference. Please go through it and advise us accordingly. Thank you.

You have to encourage her for active toe and ankle movements. If the treating doctor has told to walk, better is walking. Other things you can do is applying a crepe bandage and ice packs. This happens due to immobilisation following a surgery
