Hi there. Please consult a general physician. A clear photograph of the swelling will be helpful

Swlling on the front of the neck could be : Thyroid Thyroglossal cyst Sternocleidomastoid tumor etc Looking from the history it seems to be  a thyroglossal cyst 1 . You need to check if the swlling moves by protruding    your toungue out of your mouth 2. Is there any discharge comming out of it  along with the swelling present In which case it is a thyroglossal cyst . Which is not of much problem unelss it causes incovenience due to swelling from  repeated infections in that case u can get it removed through a  minor surgery.
Next Steps
if you have other  problems like difficulty swallowing pain on swallowing hoarseness of voice difficulty in breathing it could be due to other conditions and consult a surgeon asap !!!
