Swelling in vaccination spot from 5 days

Hello doctor's, My baby is 1.5 year old and got 2 vaccination Flu and PCV on 4th June. On one thigh the spot was reddish for 1 day and swelling is there (hard lump type). I used to pour hot water while giving bath. But still the swelling is not reduced. How i can help baby to reduce the swelling around the vaccination spot. Please help.

Don't pour hot water. If swelling gradually increase in size, with or without fever. Visit / consult with doctor physical or online.

As you are telling that injection site is reddish then don't pour hot water it may flare up inflammation.you can give anti-inflammatory after tele consultation.

Normally these vaccines should not produce a swelling like this and if it is persisting even after 5days, it needs to be seen by a doctor. He may prescribe anti-inflamatory and antibiotic if neccessary.
