Hello, A painless swelling just below the earlobe for a few months is most commonly a harmless (benign) condition. In most cases, it can be due to a small lymph node, a salivary (parotid) gland swelling, or a simple skin cyst. Although it is usually not serious, it is advisable to get it checked once by a doctor. A simple ultrasound scan can help confirm the cause. Avoid touching or pressing it frequently. If you notice increase in size, pain, redness, or rapid change, consult an ENT specialist earlier.

Hello. Hope you and your daughter are doing well. As per your history and the appearance of the swelling, it could be nothing sinister and if it isn’t causing any problem you can let it be. Although if it is associated with pain on chewing food, pain on touch or a sudden increase in size you should schedule an appointment with an ENT for a detailed assessment
