Swelling and pain in shoulder..
Hello Dr. I m having swelling n pain in left side shoulder since last 8 days.. I do excercise regularly..Especially swelling is on trapezius muscle and pain is also in left side of neck and m feeling neck stiffness.I went to Dr. He prescribed Tab. Hifenac Th and tab. Defcort 6 for twice a day for 3 days.. Pain reduced little bit but swelling is still there... So i went to Dr....last evening again..He gave tab Dicnez sp and tab. Defcort 6 for 3 days.. So plz suggest me what should I do to reduce swelling..
Dear mam,
This is a case of cervicobrachalgia where you have severe neck pain.
I usually dont prescribe steroids in my treatment which you are taking.
Please do understand that it is not the medication only which will treat your problem.
The root cause of the problem needs to be identified and treated accordingly.
