Intra oral swelling can occur because of multiple reasons, like infection around the roots of the tooth/teeth, brushing hard on gum area, calculus and plaque deposition, still need a clear clinical picture and a dental X-ray of that area to complete the diagnosis.
Next Steps
Get the Ultrasonic Scaling and Polishing done. Adv IOPA (Dental X-ray) of that particular area.
Health Tips
Adv warm saline rinses (3-4 times a day) - Put some salt in lukewarm water, rinse for 1-2 minutes, keep on the left side of mouth, then spit.

From reference of picture provided, you seem to have deposits and requires cleaning and for the treatment of swelling, further investigations need  to be done with help of x-ray, as in picture won't be enough to conclude with an diagnosis.
Next Steps
consult the dentist at earliest
Health Tips
Do not apply any heat compression or zandu balm
