Suture material feel inside vagina

2024-06-02 18:45:30
I had a normal delivery on Feb 1 , it's been four months and I don't have any pain near vaginal area where episiotomy was done but I still have some stretching feel whenever I urinate or poop . Today when I inserted my finger ( first time after delivery ,) , I could feel thick string near cervix . Is it a suture material ? Does it this long to dissolve? Do I require physical examination? I don't have any pain while touching

Usually the vaginal area is sutured with dissolvable material. Just have an examination done

Get yourself examined. Sutures dissolve in 2 weeks time.
