Suspected TB

I have cough for more than a moth. No other Symptoms of TB like loss of apetite night sweats fever etc family doctor advised TB gold, it is positive , ESR is 50, waiting for TST result. Chest X ray Impression : - Right lung shows paracardiac haziness : - S/O Infective focus. Sputum AFB is advised however I am not able to cough out sputum, Please advice if there is other way to confirm TB (Other than Sputum AFB) is it latent or active.

Hello there it woke be better if you do for the sputum for AFB and it should be done with sputum.and tourism do that with expectorants. After you take you will be able to produce sputum. The x Ray reading might be a pneumonic patch. And even that cause cough. You don't need to worry about it it is cured with effective antibiotics. Thank you
