Surgery for rectal prolapse

2020-08-05 13:18:55
Im suffering from complete rectal prolapse for 8,9 years. Can it be corrected using starr surgery by anus.  My Medical test for army is scheduled next months and any abdominal surgery performed must be six months old so through anus surgery is only option. Will it be good step for me to go for perianal surgery

Yes perineal procedure can be done. Abdominal and perineal both accepted surgery. Both have their advantage and dis advantage. All advantage and dis advantages have to be discussed in detail in presence of you and your parents.
Next Steps
Visit a general surgeon with your parents
