I have an overall brownish skin colour while my mother is so fair. My cheeks, arms and hands and legs are of a darker shade probably as they remain exposed to the Sun. When I come from school, I look at myself in the mirror with only an underwear so as to see my complexion. I look so suntanned everyday and my cheeks appear so bright brown. One day my mother gave me a tight slap on my tanned cheeks. That's when I noticed how dark am I. I saw red finger marks on my brown skin in the mirror.
