Hello, First things first, you MUST take him to a psychiatrist for assessment and possibly admission for his suicidal risk. He has already had multiple suicidal attempts and is suffering from alcohol dependence with bipolar disorder, all of which puts him at a very significant risk of further attempts and completed suicide. Do not in any case delay taking him to a psychiatrist for assessment. Hope this helps you and your brother. Taking him to a psychiatrist may be first step to recovery.. Best wishes..

Your brother needs a psychiatrist without delay. After he is a little stable and in a position to talk he should see a clinical psychologist. He should also take medicine regularly.
