Sir/Mam , My father has type 2 diabetes for 5 years, Currently he is taking himalaya diabecon DS tablets for past 3 years, his current diabetes report is, Fasting -160 Pp- 190 Age- 58 Sex- Male Current B. P - 160/98(medication -Amlokind 2.5) Kindly, suggest a suitable medication for him that has least side effects with more benefits... Thank you.

I cannot suggest him any medicine without seeing him. However what i can recommend is that you do a HbA1c (3 month average blood sugar test ), which will give you a real measure of blood sugar level. If it is less than 7 , the continue what you are doing. Nothing extra needed. If it is higher than 7 % , consider switching to allopathy .And NO... allopathy medicines DO NOT have side effects like you believe .
