Kindly do a test of FBG,PPBG, Urea ,Creatinine, LFT and consult me. Will provide your mother with medication. Early initiation of medicines reduces the complications of diabetes which is the mainstay of treatment. Till you consult me follow Diabetic Diet.
Health Tips

Hba1c is high.diabetes has started .please give T as b Glycomet SR 500 mg once daily. Fibre rich diet with low glycemic index should be given. Low glycemic index means that the food that is taken is not immediately shooting up as glucose.Instead it gives energy slowly. Frequent foods in small quantities should be given.Brisk walk early in the morning prepares her for a better day. Foods such as millets, barley, rawaa,Dahlia c as n be given. Get her eye check up done once in every 3 months.kidney functioning should also be monitored regularly. Fruits like guava, oranges ,pomegranate  can be given frequently
