Suffering from hard perianal abscess

Hello, I have a hard perianal abscess (4x4 cm) for the past 3 weeks. I do not have any pain but feeling mild discomfort when sitting. I visited a gastro surgeon nearby, but he told that it may not be possible to drain it completely at the moment as the abscess is indurated. He also prescribed Amoxicillin antibiotic tablet for 10 days. I still do not see any improvement in the past one week of medication. I'm afraid that it might spread. Please provide your valuable guidance on what treatment should be done to get rid of this abscess.

If its full formed abscess... better to go ahead with incision and drainage followed by regular sitz bath and antibiotic cover
