Suffering from Bronchitis and COPD

I am suffering from COPD and underwent treatment from a famous Pulmonologist who prescribed very good medicine.My question is shall I continue the same medication such as using Forgyn and Loftair plus Multivitamin and Anti Allergic Medicines and for how long?

Based on criteria of your severity your doctor will titrate,never stop it yourself and there is a thing called action plan which will be advised by your doctor ,follow it up.

Copd can be controlled very well with medications. Patients sometimes think that they are better and they reduce the medication on their own, that's the worst thing. Discuss with your doctor, he will help you in reducing your medication when he feels you are ready.

It's supposed to be lifetime but modifications can be made only as per your lung function test by the consulting pulmonologist. Consider vaccinations as well if you're above 60 years of age. Multivitamins have no specific role in COPD management except may be an improvement in cachexia due to COPD.
